The International Center of Photography (ICP) is the world’s leading institution dedicated to the practice and understanding of photography and the reproduced image in all its forms. Through our exhibitions, school, public programs, and community outreach, we offer an open forum for dialogue about the role images play in our culture. PROJECT BACKGROUND
For their travel programs, the client needed a set of new interactive and print materials to promote their summer workshops.
Design Process
In the beginning of the project, I created a mood board based on an initial brainstorm with the client. For our following meeting, I presented ideas, concepts, and designs to the client. Based on our conversation, I selected and defined a new color palette that would reflect the upcoming summer workshop in Lake Como, Italy. I redesigned the website with new graphics and font treatment. I also modernized templates and layouts and edited existing PHP files and CSS. While collaborating with the copywriter, I reorganized the content across the website. Once the visual design was established and approved by the client, I designed layouts and created newsletters with Constant Contact using HTML and CSS. The last part was mainly focused on print materials such as brochures and postcards, ensuring design files were prepared for print production.
