PROJECT BACKGROUND

A Girl’s Promise is a fundraising campaign designed to empower girls in countries served by Pencils of Promise—a non-profit organization that provides quality education to students around the world. As the Lead Designer, I created the visual identity of the campaign. First, I conceived a logo featuring the silhouette of a girl conveying confidence and hope through body language. Both typography and illustration have a hand brushed quality to establish immediacy with the viewer. I took advantage of the core branding palette, combining colors to express optimism. The set of promotional materials also included: homepage banner, social media assets, campaign toolkit, and titles for a branded video. Goals of the campaign were to raise awareness and inspire donor commitment to the lives of over 90,000 schoolchildren.
