PROJECT BACKGROUND

The Spytail Rum Company produces rum in cognac barrels in a region of France renown for some of the finest liqueurs in the world. The client asked for a set of animations to be used across social media channels and targeted ads. As part of the brand strategy and development, the goal was to increase consumer engagement. For this project, I worked under the direction of Creative Director Charmaine Choi. The challenge was to create fanciful and elegant animations that brought the Creative Director’s vision and storyboards to life. These motion designs feature visual effects ranging from stormy weather to kaleidoscopes and sea monsters.
